Love Compatibility With Astrology

The post I wrote several years ago called “Another Chance for Love” has been read 560 times so far! That Blog was a clear winner! You can read it, if you scroll down through.

It seems most people want the chance, but then maybe another chance to find the love of their life, no matter what their age.

When I read Tarot cards, this is the most asked question of all!!

I recently learned of a new on-line dating site, where you can submit your birth data and be matched up with astrologically compatible people for dates. I believe this is the best way to find someone to spend your life with. I have been doing Compatibility charts for many years for my clients. I always suggest they might want to get the birth information on that person they are getting serious about. Take the time to find out how they will get along in all areas before life settles down into a routine and they start wishing they had known the partner better before committing.

So, if you are considering an engagement or marriage, consider having  a Compatibility Chart done first.

If you mention that you read this Blog, I will give you a 10% discount. The Menu Bar above has a Price Sheet for all my Services!

Note: I ran my guy’s birth chart before we got married. Luckily for us, we had lots of harmony. Thirty- three years later, we are still going strong! We still hold hands while out walking and we are in our 70’s now. I feel so lucky, but I was also smart enough to learn how Astrology could help.

We bought the identical card for each other for a recent Anniversary. We were amazed!

AWAKENING TO LIFE ALL OVER AGAIN

Special place lagoon and waterfall nearby

I posted this with different photos 3 years ago and it got a lot of views.  I decided to repost it today!

We are living in wonderland, but we rarely notice it. The easiest way.to spiritually awaken is to look at the world around us with new eyes… to see things as if for the first time and the last time!

Usually we become so entangled in the story we tell ourselves about life that we don’t notice the deep mystery of existence. We live as if we know what is going on, when actually life is an enormous enigma. For spiritual awakening we need to step into the mystery. A simple way to do this is to focus on the present moment.  When we do, our state of consciousness spontaneously changes because we come out of the story and into the mystery. The story exists in time, so when we bring our attention into the present moment there is no story about the past and the future. This can be a great relief. In the here and now, we don’t understand life with words; we experience the mystery of the moment.

Spiritual awakening is intensely pleasurable, because we truly appreciate all we see and hear and touch in this world of wonders. When we are superficially awake, we feel the enjoyment available to us only partially. When we are deeply awake; however, we find ourselves really savoring the pleasures of life. The body wakes up to how sweet it is to be alive.

Appreciate colors and sounds and feelings. They become rich and vibrant. The world starts to sparkle. There is an experience of profound gratitude that arises when we  see how glorious life really is!

I thought it worthy of sharing!

And Then It Was Winter

This was enclosed in a Christmas card and I liked the message enough to share it:

You know … time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate. Yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all. I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams.

But, here it is… the “back nine” of my life and it catches me by surprise… How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my youth go?

I remember well seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that “I was only on the first hole” and the “back nine” was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like.

But, here it is … my friends are retired and getting grey… they move slower and I see an older person now. Some are in better and some worse shape than me… but, I see the great change … Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant … but, like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we’d become.

Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore … it’s mandatory, because if I don’t on my own free will … I just fall asleep where I sit!

And so … now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!! But, at least I know, that though I’m on the “back nine”, and I’m not sure how long it will last … this I know, that when it’s over on this earth … it’s over. A new adventure will begin! Yes, I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn’t done … things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I’m happy to have done. It’s all in a lifetime.

So, if you’re not on the “back nine” yet … let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly! Don’t put things off too long!! Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can today, as you can never be sure whether you’re on the “back nine” or not!

You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life … so, live for today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember … and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past!!

“Life” is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one. LIVE IT WELL! ENJOY TODAY! DO SOMETHING FUN! BE HAPPY! HAVE A GREAT DAY Remember “It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver. LIVE HAPPY!

LASTLY, CONSIDER THIS: Your kids are becoming you …. but your grandchildren are perfect! Going out is good … Coming home is better! You forget names …. But it’s OK because other people forgot they even knew you!!! You realize you’re never going to be really perfect at anything. The things you used to care to do, you no longer care to do, but you really do care that you don’t care to do them anymore. You sleep better on a lounge chair with the TV blaring than in bed. It’s called “prelife,-sleep”. You miss the days when everything worked with just an “ON” and “OFF” switch…You tend to use more 4 letter words … “what?”…”when?”…” ??? Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it’s not safe to wear it anywhere. You notice everything they sell in stores is “sleeveless”?!!! What used to be freckles are now liver spots. Everybody whispers. You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet … 2 of which you will never wear. But old is good in some things: old Songs, old movies, and best of all, OLD FRIENDS!!

Stay well, “Old friend!” Send this on to other “Old Friends!” and let them laugh in agreement!!! It’s Not What You Gather, But What You Scatter That Tells What Kind Of Life You Have Lived.

TODAY IS THE OLDEST YOU’VE EVER BEEN, YET THE YOUNGEST YOU’LL EVER BE, SO ENJOY!

Born into a Wealthy Family

Featured image

Recently on an Astrology Discussion Board, someone asked the question, “Why was Jennifer Gates’ (Bill and Melinda Gates daughter born into such wealth; can this be seen by looking at her birth chart?   I decided to look up her birth information and see what was in her chart.  Bill Gates is reputed to be the wealthiest man in the world.  His daughter Jennifer’s birth information was listed in a book called “The Secret Birth of A Microsoft Heiress” by James Wallace.

Jennifer Katherine Gates was born on April 26, 1996 at 6:11 pm in Bellevue, Washington.

I took a quick look at her birth chart and a couple of things stood out to me.  Her Leo Moon  is sextile Venus (she wanted the pretty stuff that money can buy, pleasing her dramatic Moon). Her Gemini Venus is trine her North Node (her karma for this life is to deal with having money) and Venus is also trine her Ascendant (money helps maintain beauty and certainly makes life easier all the way around), Libra is on her Ascendant which is Venus ruled and brings her beauty and charm; her Aries Saturn is trine Pluto, so hard work can bring her the power she wants and Saturn represents Dad who already has power and he paves the way for her; her Capricorn Jupiter squares her North Node which could bring too much of a good thing. This could actually be detrimental to her personal growth unless she uses it wisely.  Mars does have 5 squares, so she will have her challenges, as we all do.

I believe her spirit/soul chose these very wealthy parents to fulfill her learning lessons for this life, which is dealing with excess money and how that shapes a life, and how one handles it or what one does with it.

If anyone has any input, I would love to hear it !

LIFE IS LIKE A TRAIN

the train
Someone sent this to me and I had to pass it on:
At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel on our side. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. As time goes by, other people will board the train, and they will be significant like our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we don’t realize they vacated their seats.
This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves.
The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.
I wish you a joyful journey on the train of life. Reap success and give lots of love.
More importantly, thank God for the journey.

OUR OWN TRUE SELF AND DEAREST FRIEND

perfect red roseThis poem is poignant and so special. It was shared by my dear friend Sharon Warren and touches my heart. It was written by Nobel Prize winner Derek Walcott, Collected Poems, 1948-1984.

Love After Love

The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other’s welcome,
and say, sit here. Eat.

You will love again the stranger who was your-self.
Give wine, give bread, give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.

Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.
