New Planetary Energy

all signs coexistJune opens with many changes in the planetary energies!

Mercury moved into Gemini where it is  very much at home.  Mercury rules communications and Gemini is the sign of the communicator!   Lets all talk!!

Venus moved into Taurus where it is also feeling quite homey.  Venus is the planet ruling Taurus.  Venus is love and money and Taurus loves  handling money!

Mars just moved into Cancer and will energize Cancerians and get them busy with their projects.  Cancer softens Mars competitive and often combative nature.

Jupiter went Direct today after being retrograde for 4 months.  He is in Libra at 13 degrees as he goes Direct.  Get ready Librans for some positive forward movement finally.  Everyone else look and see where 13 degrees Libra falls in your birth chart,  That’s where you should see things start to pick up for you in beneficial ways.

We also have a Full Moon at 18 degrees Sagittarius tomorrow June 9th and it pushes us to seek adventure and broaden our learning through our emotions.  This will mostly affect you if you have any planets in Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (all the mutable signs) between 15 and 23 degrees.

Lots is shifting in the heavens for us to experience in our lives.

If you want to know specifically how all these changes will affect you and want your chart done, please check my Pricing Schedule found on the menu bar above.

Wishing you happy times ahead!                            all signs colorful

Daylight Savings Time – More Than You Ever Wanted to Know

ASTROLOGERPEG'S BLOG

Recently while working on a Birth Chart, I once again came up against this crazy system of Daylight Savings Time in regard to recording birth times.  During the summer months did nurses record the birth time as DST or did they record  the ‘real’ time, which would be one hour earlier?   Was the birth during War Time when DST was observed?   Were you born in a state or county that chose not to observe DST during the summer?   Having an accurate birth time is important because it tells us what sign was rising over the horizon when you were born.  This becomes your Rising Sign or Ascendant, the part of you that is seen by the public.     Here are some interesting facts I discovered while researching DST:

In March, 1918  Summer DST was observed for 7 months, until October, 1918.  Then again in March, 1919, DST was observed…

HELLO PLUTO

One of the recent photos of Pluto – July, 2015

Pluto was discovered in 1930 and is the furthest body in our solar system that we know of today..  Astronomers decided to downgrade Pluto to a planetoid several years ago, but Astrologers knew that Pluto would always be a planet and continued to use Pluto in natal charts.   Pluto has been given rule over the planet Scorpio and is associated with power, control and transformation.

The nature of Pluto is similar to that of the Hindu god Shiva, known as the creator and destroyer.  Pluto is known to begin a break-down phase, followed by something new.  The death, destruction and renovation cycle has a lot of power.  The Pluto process is about new life from the old.  This is also seen symbolically in the Tarot cards  “Death” and “The Tower”.

Pluto-ruled people want to be in control and during a Pluto transit to your natal chart, someone or something could occur that causes a transformation of some kind in your life.  Pluto generally refers to death as a metaphor; in other words, something that ends.  Sometimes there are power struggles over the changes that occur.  These changes are inevitable, because Pluto comes along with lessons, letting you know that you can’t patch things up anymore.  It’s time to reconstruct, or start over from the ground up.  Don’t waste time and energy trying to prevent Pluto from doing his job; because all that powerful energy will build up and become explosive.  The changes will happen and not in the best way.  This is necessary for your growth and evolution!  It’s certainly helpful to know when Pluto is about to enter a new area in your chart (your life), so you can be forewarned and handle things better.
