A Second Chance for Love

holding hands

So, you are divorced or widowed and you don’t want to be alone anymore. What is it like to start dating again? It is really best to take your time and not jump into the first situation just because you want to be settled again. . You can have an ‘interview’ of sorts with potential partners, while you learn more about yourself, your needs, and what and who works best for you. You want to meet that special one to spend the rest of your life with; someone with whom you share the same goals, and with harmony between you that just flows easily. How do each of the Zodiac Sun signs relate to their partners?

Aries: The first time they were probably the stronger marriage partner because they always enjoy being needed. But probably now they are tired of that situation and want to have a partner who is more of an equal. Known to be impetuous and rush into things, being a little older and wiser, they probably will take their time before rushing into anything this time around. They like their independence but are now willing to give the same to a partner.

Taurus: They stay in marriages and try their best to make them work, knowing change is taking a risk. But if it’s the second time around, they look for financial security as well as physical love and someone who enjoys food as much as they do. They like the time they spend being on their own and dating, and they usually go slowly, waiting for the person who fits into their life effortlessly.

Gemini: After a failed marriage or losing a partner, they probably enjoy the dating experience and really like being single and do not feel a strong urge to remarry. If they had to struggle to fit into a relationship and it was too demanding, they want to leave. When they feel ready to try again, they know that they probably won’t be typical. They look for someone who is easy to be with, yet interesting and easy to talk to.
Cancer: Divorces really devastate them and they take a long time to heal. They slowly start socializing and open up a little at a time. They do remember how nice intimacy can be. They also remember how good it feels to cook a nice meal for someone who appreciates it. Eventually they will feel ready to marry someone who will love and cherish them and they want to reciprocate in kind.

Leo: Sometimes they grow apart from their partner through the years. As they mature and gain greater confidence, it’s easier to find someone a bit more independent, who will not cling to them nor will they expect a devoted audience from the partner all the time, as they did in their younger days. They learn that adult love is true appreciation of each other.

Virgo: It is so difficult for them to find a partner who meets their criteria. But when they do and it ends for one reason or another, they doubt they can find someone else to measure up to their high standards. Eventually as they mature, they learn to let go of being so picky and focus on the important things and they do find another partner. They learn not to nag so much over trivial stuff, which might be the reason for the failed first marriage.

loving couple 1

Libra: They love storybook romances and living happily ever after. They soon learn that real life intrudes and reality often breaks up the partnership. They continue to idealize the other person and think they won’t find anyone like that again. They should use their minds and intellect a bit more, rather than indulging in too many fantasies, as they seek another partner. They need to find someone with mutual interests which can then lead to moonlight and roses and a relationship that will last.

Scorpio: They need a deeply satisfying relationship and it’s painful for them to let go and reach out again. But they eventually do, as they realize intimacy is better the older we get. Maturity brings the knowledge of how to respond to a partner on all levels. They learn to stop the games and power struggles that they always enjoyed. Developing a sense of humor along with a desire for depth and intensity can help them to be ready to find the right one.

Sagittarius: In their first marriage, if the partner tried to tie them down and keep them home, they finally learn enough about themselves to bypass that scenario the second time. They believe that love is about the heart, not about the license, so they can enjoy being with someone without a contract. If they do think about possibly marrying again, it’s because they find someone who so fascinates them, they want them to always stay around and perhaps they marry, or maybe not.

Capricorn: Being status conscious, they may have chosen their first partner to advance financially, socially or professionally. Without enough shared love, these marriages end. With maturity and reaching their own achievements in life, they learn to marry for love, pleasure or personal enjoyment. They lighten up and get younger in spirit, yet always tend to keep a sensible outlook on life.

Aquarius: Being naturally rebellious and independent, they may avoid intimacy and find themselves in an early marriage that feels very threatening to their freedom. After some time, through the dating scene, they may develop a friendship with a person who doesn’t feel so threatening to them. They build greater intimacy and eventually realize that they are indeed connected, married or not.

Pisces: In an early marriage, they felt obligated to always be there for the partner and put their own needs last. Eventually, with maturity, they realize they can’t do this anymore and retreat either emotionally or physically. After some time of growing independence. they find someone who understands them; someone with whom they are unafraid to reveal themselves and then they can be truly happy in a relationship.

Being single again has its benefits. It forces people to figure out what it takes to be in a relationship. Many people remarry, believing that this time they know what is required to make a marriage work. Hopefully, they take enough time to learn this.

Astrology – A Cosmic Code

Dating back to early Sumerian and Babylonian times and later in Egyptian writings, celestial symbols have been found on monuments. We read that Abraham was told by God to observe the skies and see therein the future. The number twelve figured prominently in the old writings.

It seems the information was given to Jacob about the Constellations. When Jacob was near death, he called his twelve sons to bless them and foretell their future. As told in the “Prophecy of Jacob”, he associated his oldest son Reuben with the zodiacal constellation of Aries. Back then it was the constellation of the spring equinox instead of Taurus. Simeon and Levi were lumped together as the Twins, the constellation of Gemini. Judah was compared to a Lion, which is Leo, Zebulun was called a dweller of the Seas, Aquarius the water bearer. Then Rachel’s sons .. Joseph was the Bowman of Sagittarius and Benjamin substituted for his sister Dinah, the Virgo. Gad was a Scorpio and Naphtali was a Capricorn.

The floors in the remains of the Jewish Synagogues in the Holy Land are decorated with the zodiacal circle of twelve constellations depicted by their ancient symbols. The Hebrews were familiar with the zodiac and also the association with predictions of the future, called fate. They cried Mazol-tov and still do at weddings and Ba Mitzvahs and it is thought to mean good luck, but it literally means “a good/favorable zodiacal constellation”.

In Babylonian times, a corps of astronomer-priests observed the heavens and assumed a key role in royal decisions. The fate of the King, the land, and nations were divined from the position of the planets in a particular zodiacal constellation. Records have been found of hundreds of engraved tablets revealing heavenly phenomena interpreted to foretell invasions, famines, floods, civil unrest, or long life for the King, a stable dynasty, victory in war, prosperity. They were written down on clay tablets. In all instances, Fate was deemed to be indicated by the heavens.

Today’s astrology roots go back well beyond the Babylonians, the Chaldeans of Greek reports. Fate and the Zodiac began at least when the calendar began, in Nippur in 3760 B.C. which is when the Jewish calendar began. Also recorded in the Egyptian “Book of the Dead”, is the fact that one’s hope for an eternal afterlife depends on the weighing of the heart on the Day of Judgment. At the time of the Exodus, the first constellation, that of the spring equinox was Aries, not Taurus. Also, in the heavens Fate had twelve stations.

Dividing the heavens into twelve parts is a highly sophisticated astronomy, one so advanced that man by himself, could not have known it when this division of the celestial circle began. How could the Sumerians have known all that they did? They themselves provided the answer. “All that we know was taught to us by the Anunnaki” (Those who from heaven to earth came). It is known from these early writings that they came from another planet with a vast orbital period and a longevity in which one year encompassed 3,600 of Earth years. They therefore had no difficulty discerning Precession of the Equinoxes and devising the twelve part zodiac.

Ancient Science and Religion texts which were also passed on in other tongues, including the biblical Hebrew have considered the Sumerian tales of the Anunnaki of the ancient gods to be Mythology. Our knowledge of the Greek Mythology and that of all the nations stemmed from the original Sumerian beliefs and texts. The Sumerians told that there was a time before civilized man was on earth, when animals were wild and crops not yet cultivated, when there arrived on Earth a group of fifty Anunnaki who journeyed from their home planet Nibiru, meaning ‘the planet of crossing’ and reaching earth they splashed down in the waters of the Persian Gulf. They found fish and fowl to eat and then began to make bricks from the clay of the soil and established the first-ever settlement on earth by extraterrestrials.

The full, detailed story is told in a series of books called “The Earth Chronicles” by Zecharia Sitchin. His first book was “The Twelfth Planet”.
I will write more about this in another Blog.

I have found this information to be totally fascinating and much of it correlates with our Biblical Old Testament, but in so much more detail.

No Time of Birth – Rectification

Many people would like to have their Birth Chart (Natal Chart) cast, but don’t know what time time they were born.

astrol-wheel-for-1-16-17

You have several options.

We can cast a Solar Chart, where we place your sun sign on the Ascendant (cusp of the first house) and then place all the other planets in their Houses depending on their degrees.  This does not give as much information as a chart cast knowing the birth time, and the sign Rising on the Ascendant at the moment of birth.  You won’t get to know your Rising Sign or timing of upcoming events in your Transits.  You will get all the rest, each planet and the aspects they make with each other.

The second option is if we can rectify your chart.  If you can give the Astrologer a window of about 2 or 3 hours on the day you were born, we will ask you some questions about past events.  Major events occur when major planets cross the 4 angles of your chart, that is House 1, 4, 7 or 10.  With enough information from the client, we can count the age/degrees from the event to an angle and ascertain your birth time, thereby finding out your Ascendant, which is  also called your Rising Sign.

The third option is to contact the Bureau of Vital Statistics in your birth town, where all birth times are recorded.

We would love to work with you in getting your chart done, so you can have a better understanding of the person that you are!

FAREWELL TO NOEL TYL

I just learned of the passing of Noel Tyl, a very talented and wonderful Astrologer.  Noel left us on December 31, 2019.  He was 83 years old and had retired a few years ago.

This news was very sad for me.  I met Noel when we both lived in Fountain Hills, Arizona.  He called me after moving into town and reading the local newspaper.  He found my monthly Astrology column, read it and called me.  He invited me to his home so we could meet and discuss our favorite topic.  We met and while chatting, he autographed five of his books and gave them to me.  We had a lovely meeting that day.

We kept in touch and when I attended one of his lectures, he called me out in the audience with a lovely compliment.  During this time, I asked him if he was teaching.  He suggested that I gather four friends and he would teach us his advanced Astrology over a six week period.  We met at his kitchen table weekly and learned so much from him!  This was actually the beginning of his Master Course in Astrology that he later offered on his website.  He perfected that course on us!

When we completed his course, Noel treated us to a special luncheon at his house, making three of his favorite Italian meals for us.  On another occasion, he and his wife had dinner with us at our home and we had such a great time with them.

Some less-known facts about Noel are that he was an opera singer in Europe and the USA in his younger days.  He loved to cook and even wrote and published a cookbook!  He had a Cancer Ascendant and with my Sun sign being Cancerian, we connected well.

Noel was very special and he has left us a wealth of knowledge in all the many books he has written on Astrology.  I use his book, “Synthesis and Counseling in Astrology” all the time in my work.

Farewell Noel until we continue our Astrological discussions on the other side.

The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe

Walter Russell is the man who tapped the secrets of the Universe.  I will say more about who he was toward the end.  I want to share some of his secrets with you first. The reason this information resonates with me is because when I received the concept for creating a deck of Astrology cards several years ago, I believe this is the way it happened and can happen for anyone who truly wants to create a product to fit a purpose.  Yet, it can also happen to you even if you are not necessarily seeking to create a product at all, but you are in the right frame of mind to receive.

Walter Russell taught that any thought that flows through you is itself never created; that thought belongs to the universe; it is only the form of the thought that is created. No one can make a sale, write a book, or invent anything without first having a deep reverence that makes him know and feel that he or she is merely an interpreter of the thought-world, creating a product of some kind to fit a purpose.  Look reverently inward and you will be amazed at what you will find.   Be alone long enough with yourself and listen for whisperings from the source of universal consciousness, which will inspire you.   These are actual messages, or revelations telling you, guiding you, showing you the way to the Source of the thought-world and with great reverence you step out through the thought world into the world of creation.  There, you can produce through your interpretations of the images crowding your mind which you do not see.  You will soon find yourself using the cosmic forces, which you also cannot see, instead of working by yourself blindly in the dark.

It takes great reverence to understand that you become co-creator with the Universal Thinker of all things and many people call this God.  When the feeling of inspiration comes, know you can produce it and nobody under heaven can tell you you cannot.  Flashes of inspiration come only to those who plug into the universe and become harmonious with its rhythms by communion with it.  Inspiration and intuition are the language of light through which humans and God communicate.   The universe gives to those who ask, without favor.

Walter Russell said he can only point the way as it worked for him, but each must find it for themself. Be alone with your thoughts  long enough to give the inner voice within you a chance to cry out in distinguishable language to you, “Here I am within you”.  This is the silent voice which speaks to everyone who will listen.  Plug into it because you will suddenly know things which you never knew before.  All knowledge exists in the God-Mind and is extended into this electrical universe of creative expression through desire or being open to it.

Walter Russell was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1871.  He became a musician and went to art school.  He was self-supporting and self-educated after the age of 13, when he was taken out of school and put to work.  He used his inquiring mind to find out the secret mysteries of his inner self and the relation of his real self to the selective universe of which he believed himself to be a vital part.  He did many remarkable things in his life due to his absolute faith that anything can come to one who trusts in the unlimited help of the Universal Intelligence that is within, as long as we work within the law, always give more to others than they expect; and do it cheerfully and courteously.

Walter Russell is the most interesting man!   He has accomplished amazing things in his life.   I had never heard about him until my dear friend Fran gave me a little book called “The Man who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe” by Glenn Clark.  He has written several books himself, most notably “The Secret of Light”.   Walter passed on his 92nd birthday in 1963.

One last interesting fact about Walter is that he believed in versatility in all creative work, and that although we can work many hours at a time physically, he believes that in mental, creative work, we can do our best in only working two hours at a time on any one project.  But we can work another two hours on another project with equal freshness and that all work should be done with love.  He credits this for his perfect health and great physical strength his entire life.   He has made his living creditably in all five of the fine arts; music, literature, architecture, painting and sculpture and greatly in two of them.  He also made great discoveries in science, was a reputable philosopher and lecturer on ethical human relations.   He also won three first prizes in figure skating against competitors all under age thirty, and he was then sixty-nine years of age.

Walter Russell was a great teacher and more people need to know about him!

How to Get What You Want Using Astrology

night sky over city road

Do you want to know which days each month are the best ones to get your way, or at ones that could be lucky for you?    Most things will work out to your advantage if you act on these particular days.

If you know your Sun Sign, look at an Ephemeris, which you can also find on-line.  Look in any given month, for what sign the Moon is in and on which days.

Note that the exact time the Moon changed signs is different depending on where you liv).  The moon changes signs on the same day for all, but the exact time changes depending on your time zone.  They always use Greenwich Mean Time, so for example, if you happen to live on the east coast of the United States, you would subtract 5 hours from the listed time.

The moon spends about 2-1/2 days in each Zodiac sign.  for example, if your Sun sign is Aries, look to see when the moon will be in Aries.  Those will be your best days of the month.   You will want to try and plan special activities on these days if possible.

Schedule things such as:

  • Signing contracts
  • Starting important projects
  • Finishing up deals
  • Going on job interviews or asking for a raise
  • Moving your residence
  • Applying for loans or credit cards
  • Approaching important people or beginning important conversations
  • Purchasing clothes for special occasions
  • Discussing problems with businesses that service you
  • Getting married

If you are unable to schedule these special days, at least do not pick one of the days when your Sun sign is in the Moon sign opposite.  These are the days that others are more likely to get their way and you will not.  On your low days, just lie low.  Go with the flow and rest more.  One thing that it is nice to do on one of your low days of the month, is to help others by being kind and spiritual.

Things not to schedule:

  • A house or business closing
  • Signing contracts or anything
  • Negotiating deals
  • Starting a new job
  • Making decisions
  • Starting a vacation
  • Visiting a new restaurant or hair salon

You can certainly be happy on these days, just avoid important moments if you can, because things just possibly won’t go your way.   Try it for a few months and see how it works out for you.

A Strange Event

Last night at 1:45 am I was awakened to the very loud voice of a woman coming from my living room. I ran in there to find out it was a newscaster from the BBC booming from one of our speakers. Nothing was turned on! Thinking it was coming from our Sonos System which has broadcast options from all over the world, I grabbed my phone looking for the Sonos App to turn it off. It told me to reinstall. So I went to my laptop and tried the Sonos App there, it wanted to update, which I did. After that I looked through and nothing was turned on. I removed a radio station. She still kept shouting! I disconnected the Sonos speaker, no help. I realized it was coming from the other large speaker next to the DVD player. I tried to find a wire to turn off that speaker. Suddenly it shut itself off! Sudden quiet at 2:15 a.m. Husband slept through it all! I still cannot understand what happened nor can he!!

Planning your Vacation by Your Zodiac Sign

zodiac pictures all 12

Read your Sun Sign and Rising Sign for some clues as to what would make a great vacation for you!

ARIES:  The Mars energy always goes with you wherever you go.  However, a calm, quiet resort would certainly be a good contrast to your usual day.  You tend to pack in a lot of activity and excitement.  You may enjoy exploring the back roads and finding something new and different.  But instead of always looking for some excitement going on, you would really benefit from a complete change of scene.

TAURUS:  It’s usually a tropical island or a cruise for you, where someone else is planning the activities and serving the meals.   You want to sit and recharge and just release your tension. You often bring the family, but try to have one short period of time along without the kids.  Pass up the temptation to vacation with business friends.  Try to break the rut of always going to the same place every year.  Explore somewhere new every so often and try new places to eat.  See how great you feel!

GEMINI:  You dream about your vacations, imagining the ‘perfect’ trip.  You tend to make plans and then change them or add in another stop, because your ruler Mercury lends some changeability  to your nature.  However, this also affects others who are going with you.  You like taking tours, but it would be good to stay longer in a place so you can absorb what you are seeing more fully.   You like to read and also chat with those you meet. Rent a bike or motorscooter and see things along the way.

CANCERIANS:   You really love to travel but usually like to keep some days to relax at home. You might take short trips, returning to sleep in your own comfy bed. Some take half the day just getting out the door and wonder why they don’t see as much as they had hoped.  Plan a start time and take time to choose where you would like to eat since you are a foodie.  You need to plan ahead and not get too emotional if things don’t always go as you’d like. Travel near water or somewhere romantic.  A cruise would be perfect!

LEO:  You love warmth, being a child of the Sun.  Also, you love  bright lights and sparkling people.  Discipline yourself to save the money to enjoy the comforts of a lovely, luxurious vacation.  You would love to rub shoulders with celebrities and lots of night life.   Getting a good suntan on a beautiful beach suits you.  Give thought to the clothes, jewelry and shoes that you will need, because you are inclined to over-pack.  Allow your family or co-travelers to have a say in where they would like to go.

VIRGO:   You tend to wait too long to accumulate the funds or the time to take a real vacation.  But when its time to go, you really might surprise your friends with the great trip you plan, like maybe a safari in Africa or an exotic flight to some tropical island. You will feel you are making up for lost time!  Take a lot of pictures and enjoy some extravagances.  A new side of you will emerge and then later you will enjoy reminiscing about your trip for many years.

LIBRA:  You have trouble deciding where to go and then might still change your mind, or sometimes circumstances cause you to cancel your plans.  If someone raves about a place they have visited, you are influenced to go and see if for yourself.  Do plan relaxation time and forget about those tours that cause you to rush.  Go where you can be waited on and pampered.  Your ruler Venus wants you to have all possible comforts, including fine food and interesting companionship.  Bring a lot of money, you’ll need it!

SCORPIO:  You need a vacation that provides beneficial changes to your usual routine with results that last all year.  You can fall in love with a special place and even have a holiday romance if thats your style.  You plan dramatic, intense vacations with many adventures.  Save unnecessary emotional upsets by realizing that vacation romances are usually just that.  Choose holiday companions with discretion.  Foreign countries attract you and music festivals and theater performances.  Music and drama are a great relief for your moody and secretive nature.  Your ruler Pluto seeks vacations that may have some danger involved somewhere on the trip but take care not to return all tired out.

SAGITTARIUS:  You love action-packed vacations and participating in or attending sports events.  The mountains and rugged outdoors attract you.  You require challenges and physical activity on your trip.  Try not to be impatient with family members or friends who need time to enjoy some relaxing time on a beach.  Take separate vacations occasionally.  Being so outgoing, you like good companionship and will meet people easily when you travel.

CAPRICORN:  You need to leave your work behind and don’t read email or answer work related calls while you are away unless you absolutely must.  You look so forward to escaping work but often bring projects along that need completing.  You need a relaxing vacation almost more than any other sign.   Something often holds you back from fully enjoying yourself and this is the Saturn-influence on your sign. You are practical and don’t always want to spend money on frivolity, which can impede full enjoyment for you.  But it’s money well-spent for you because you are such a hard worker, that you deserve a break.

AQUARIUS:  You are probably the most spontaneous traveler of the zodiac.  Uranus your ruler often erupts suddenly in your life and being a humanitarian, you may find yourself visiting or helping a sick friend or looking after a family member.  This frequently cuts your vacation time short for your own relaxation.  Sometimes you have to forego your original plans due to unexpected events.   As you age, you will spend more time relaxing at home, but its better to get away and unwind where there is peace and quiet and also meet interesting people who will provide an interesting discussion with you.

PISCES:  You like to plan fabulous vacations with romantic appeal and water nearby. You like new places and can enjoy yourself no matter where you go.  You don’t want to be cramped and so will choose spacious accommodations.   You like a mix of pleasant company and also lots of time for quiet introspection.  You are quite impressionable so choose your vacation spot wisely.  You always meet people and you know money spent on vacations can save money spent on doctors.  Vacations are so therapeutic for Pisces that they need to get away as often as possible.zodiac cartoons

Doesn’t this put you in the mood to plan a trip somewhere?
